Senior Adult's Club

As a Voluntary Club, our aim is to welcome the over 65’s within the community, for a weekly afternoon of fun and games, music, activities, speakers, outings, and occasional lunches together etc.  We meet on Monday afternoons from 2 pm - 3.30 pm (except on Bank holidays and during the month of August). Our objective is to create a Club with friendship and for those who enjoy meeting people and to create an atmosphere of fun and laughter as they mingle together.

Our meetings start with tea, coffee and biscuits and close with prayer. At Easter and Christmas time we conduct a service of praise and worship, where members are encouraged to participate, reminding us of God’s unconditional love for each one of us.

For more information on how to join the Senior Adult's Club, please contact the Church office.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

We are situated on Streatfield Road (Kenton), opposite Uppingham Avenue.

We are very well connected on the London transport network. If you are planning to visit us by public transport, please use the TfL Journey Planner to plan your journey. Please click here to access the TfL Journey Planner website.

Where and When

Our Sunday service begins at 10:30 am. We have plenty of parking spaces available on the church premises, including a disabled parking space for Blue Badge holders. When you arrive, you will be warmly greeted by someone from our Welcome Team.

We serve tea, coffee, and biscuits after the service (and sometimes even cake!). It is a great way to meet people or simply take time to find your bearings.

Accessibility

There is wheelchair access, and the church operates a ‘loop’ system for those with impaired hearing. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival, and they will help you get set up. There is a disabled toilet in the main foyer.

We have space available in the main church sanctuary for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

Our Service

The Sunday service begins at 10:30 am with a warm welcome from our Pastor, followed by a call to worship. This is followed by a time of sung worship, led by our worship team. Our Pastor, or a visiting preacher, will then give a Bible-based sermon that we can apply to our everyday lives. We then finish with a final song.

Our communion service takes place on the third Sunday of every month. The communion wine we serve is alcohol-free.

What about my children?

We have a great Sunday School programme for children of all ages. For more information about our Sunday School, please visit our Sunday School page by clicking here.

If you have any questions about our church, please contact us.

We hope that whoever you are, you will feel at home at our church.

God bless you, and we hope to see you very soon at Kenton Baptist Church.
